Had a girls birthday party in one of the karaoke rooms. It was great. Tons of songs to pick from. We ordered some Korean appetizers that were awesome. Also ordered a couple of pizzas for the girls which surprisingly was pretty good. The room was large enough for 12 and the people that work there were great. Overall a good place to check out if you are in town. Good food. Plus a full bar if you need it.

We stopped by uiuc and decided to try this restaurant as it was recommended by a uiuc alumnus who said that this place has been here for more than 10 years and students would always come here for late night snacks and food. The food was great and some items were barely seen in Korean restaurants in Chicago. We ordered the sweet potato pizza and spicy pork bone soup. They tasted great!
The fried chicken here is big portioned and juicy. The pan cake could be a little too oily. I also really enjoyed interacting with the restaurant owner. She is very friendly and would invite you to taste some food items she cooked for innovation or just fun. Will definitely return.
Star Karaoke chicken is amazing! Hands down, probably one of my favorite chicken places in the Champaign-Urbana area. Actually, they're in Savoy in the same mall as the movie theater, but relatively close to UIUC campus. We ordered the boneless chicken with sauce and let's just say their chicken is extra crispy and juicy at the same time. The fried chicken is coated with the perfect amount of sauce, and when you take that first bite, you won't want to put it down. We also ordered the tray jjajangmyun, which is perfect for splitting since it's huge. I've heard their other menu items are really tasty as well. Be aware, their dining area is small and can't accommodate a whole lot of people, and plan on getting cozy. I haven't been to the karaoke side here, but my friends go very often and they've said positive things!
